About Brother Charles
Brother Charles is a freelance writer, audio-product review specialist, Gospel music artist, educator, and minister. Charles had been a professional touring & recording musician during the 1990s and early 2000s; working primarily as a lead guitarist in the Canadian Country Music industry.
Brother Charles also has a wealth of live sound experience, and now has his finger on the pulse of DAW-based music production and (pro-grade) home/small studio recording as well. Although Charles started out with multi-track Reel-to-Reel recording in the early 1980s, he embraced DAW recording and MIDI sequencing in the budding 1990s using software tools such as, Cakewalk Pro Studio and Cubase.
In total, Brother Charles now has well over four decades’ worth of professional music recording, performance and production experience.
Brother Charles is a graduate, with distinction, from Cape Breton Business College. His discipline of study was “Information Technology and Business Programming”.
